Noor fatima | Film and Filmmakers Coordinator

Noor joined The Mosquers as one of two Film and Filmmakers Coordinators. She is responsible for establishing relationships with filmmakers nationally and internationally, along with managing and sourcing film submissions, and developing networking opportunities in the film community. This is Noor's first year at The Mosquers. She attended the main festival last year and in her words, was 'rendered speechless' by the quality of the films and the potential of the festival. She joined to make meaningful impact towards the representation of Muslims in films. Along the way, Noor has found a safe haven with her Mosquers community, which has given her the space to be unapologetically Muslim in Canada.
