Rhia Aden | Executive director

Rhia brings a wealth of experience from her work at the British Film Institute in London, where she managed talent development programs to upskill and kickstart careers for emerging filmmakers. Based in Amiskwaciwâskahikan (Edmonton) Treaty 6 territory, Rhia is a dedicated community organizer, presenter, and programmer, with extensive experience in film programming and event production. She has collaborated with non-profit organizations to bring impactful artistic experiences to the community. Rhia also co-founded STAY WOC, a festival dedicated to platforming women of colour in the arts, showcasing her commitment to diversity and inclusion in the creative industry.
